Vision Potential have been providing a full range of behavioural optometry and vision therapy services to the Brisbane and Gold Coast area for over 15 years. Originally based in Browns Plains, we have recently moved to Ormeau.


Louella Varney – Optometrist and Vision Therapist

Louella is our behavioural Optometrist here at Vision Potential. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry and a member of the Australian and American college of Syntonics. She holds a Masters degree (honours) in Optometry and is a fellow of the Australasian college of behavioural optometrists. Louella has many years of experience when it comes to helping children and adults with their visual needs. Louella’s passion is looking after children and adults improving their vision so they can function to their best at school, work, sports and to succeed in life. Louella has done extensive study over the past few years and is still studying and researching. Louella has recently obtained her certificate in Ocular therapeutics and now therapetically endorsed to treat glaucoma, dry eyes, eye disease and some infections. conditions. Louella has passions that extend outside of the practice too. These include water skiing, wakeboarding, fostering children and cycling. Louella won a silver medal in the cycling championships in Adelaide this year.


Rebekah Taylor –
Vision Therapist and Optical Dispenser

Rebekah is a qualified Optical Dispenser and has worked in the Optometry Industry for the past 12 years. Rebekah is also an ACBO certified Vision Therapist who helps run and train the children going through vision therapy. Rebekah loves working with the children and adults helping them gain the Visual skills they need for day to day life! She has a family and keeps very busy between her work and family life.


Emily Grammatico –
Vision Therapist and Optical Dispenser

Emily is an Optical dispenser and fully qualified vision therapist. She loves working with adults and kids with choosing frames for all ages and working through vision therapy. Her spare time is spent with her family and working at home.
